The mother in me

Belated HAPPY MOTHER'S Day to all mother's out there, grandparents, mother-in-laws and soon-to-be-mother's! How did you treat your mom during that special day? As for me, nothing grandeur, it was just an ordinary day because for me, everyday I treat my mom special, everyday, I make her feel that she is important. Love you Chub!

So anyways, on that special day, I wasn't around to spend time with my little boy because I have to stay at home to accompany my mom but I was really touched when my baby boy called me on the phone and greeted me, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY Mama.. I was really touched and I got teary eyed because I miss Lucas and it's as much as I want to hug him but I can't. That simple greeting from my baby somehow completed my day, sometimes it's those little things and effort that somehow satisfies me and gives me contentment. And because I super miss my first love, I made a little effort to make a collage of my memories with Lucas as he was growing up. Everyday, I thank GOD for Lucas because indeed he completes me. I love you my baby boy Lucas Nathaniel!! Mama dear loves you so much! See you soon...

HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY everyone!! One big hug and a loud applause to all mother's out there!!

Siam and friends

It's been quite a while since the last time I saw my best buds. Now that we all have different lives and jobs and responsibilities, finding a time to gather them is quite a tough challenge. I am not good in planning a get together but this one's an exception. I have to make a move by planning this out. It was tough, I had to check their schedules and make plans out of it. Of course, I also have to squeeze my time if I am pretty much available on that event. After weeks of sorting their schedules out, we've decided to meet yesterday afternoon.

And so the day has come, we planned to meet when all of a sudden one of my friend had an emergency and she had to rush back home, another friend had to go to the airport to assist his brother before departing and the other one had LBM. Call it unlucky. I thought the much awaited mini reunion of us will be successful but too bad out of 6 only 3 came. But I know there's always a next time.

So the three of us, Zal and Vianney and me decided to eat out and have some dinner in Siam, a Thai cuisine for a change. They wanted to try something new so I suggested the place. It was just the three of us but our table is full with food, we ordered seafood to meat and appetizer. Of course, we can't end the night without ice cream, so we head out to Gelatissimo after. Chika and never ending laughter made our get together special. I hope the next time we plan this out again, hopefully everyone will show up. 'Till next time folks!

PS: Sorry for the poor quality of pictures, I left my camera and I just used my Nokia 500 phone just to capture the moments. At least we have pictures. =)

Thank you, 2012!

2 more days and 2012 is over. This year made a big difference in my human existence. I made a lot of big mistakes, bad moves and struggles that I encountered throughout the year. I can hardly remember the good ones that happened but what matters is somehow I managed to survive the trials that I had to face. It made me realized that I need to organize my life now that I'm back in Cebu for good. I made a lot of wrong decisions and glad that I learned a lesson out from it. So here I am looking back to the craziness 2012 has brought me.
