Birthday blast!

This serves as a backlog post. I was supposed to blog this exactly on the day of his 1st birthday but we were too tired with all the preparations and everything so I never had a chance to do a post about it. But I guess, it's better late than never. Well, HAPPY 1st birthday to my baby Lucas Nathaniel! I only had few pictures because we were too busy entertaining the guests and other preparations.

We just let him opened his gifts. But for those with boxes or paper bags, we helped him opened it.

In less than 30 minutes, we were able to open all his gifts! Thank you for those who came and for the gifts!

Farewell Singapore

The moment of truth. My Singapore trip ended already. Saying goodbye and looking forward with high hopes that I would be able to come back and visit this place again and this time with my baby Luke. Went to the airport 10 hours before the flight since our flight was supposed to be 2PM but it was moved around 4PM. We went to the airport earlier than we expected. My mom is a worry-wart, for her the earlier the better. Anyways, what I love about Changi airport is that they have all the entertainment a traveler needs. They have PS3 and XBOX kiosks, Kinect and WII, free foot massage, nap areas, sunflower garden, movie theater, PC games and free use of internet at some designated stationed computers and take note, it's all for FREE! Yes, you can enjoy all these while waiting for your boarding announcement or boarding time. Who says staying in airport is boring? You're wrong mi amigos because in Changi aiport, fun and entertainment never stops!  Here's to the last days in Changi airport, Singapore!

Last hurray for Singapore

Our last days in Singapore was spent touring the Merlion Park, the Esplanade Mall and the view of Marina Bay Sands at night. The view was overwhelming. For first timers, I suggest if you are planning to go to the Fountain of Wealth, the best time would be the night time because the lights would be so colorful and somewhat like a dancing fountain. As for Merlion Park, for me, the Merlion looks great at night time because during the morning, it is just like any ordinary statue or formation. And for those who loves to party, head out for Clarke Quay where the night is always young. Appreciate the city lights at its best during the night. Thank GOD with good friends like Sheena who made her time to tour us around the whole city. Singapore is indeed one of the progressive country and I can say that I enjoyed my stay here. Will definitely come back!
