Baby's day out

May God grant you always
A sunbeam to warm you,
A moonbeam to charm you,
A sheltering angel,
So nothing can harm you,
Laughter to cheer you,
Faithful friends near you,
And whenever you pray,
Heaven to hear you.

Last Sunday, my nephew was baptized. Like what I mentioned the past few days, I haven't seen them for quite sometime. But glad that I finally saw him again. I have this thing about babies. I love babies and I get excited everytime I see a baby. The first time I knew that I will have a baby I cried. I was scared but happy, mixed emotions. And when I first heard his heartbeat, I was so excited that I can't sleep that night. By the time I gave birth and saw him, I just couldn't explain how happy I am to finally see my baby, to hold him, to hug him and kiss him everyday. Every morning I thank GOD for another day, another time spent with my baby and my family. Anyways, going back. I attended the christening of my nephew but wasn't able to attend the Sunday service because we came in late. After the prayer and the dedication, we then went to Royal Concourse. An eat all you can buffet for only Php198.00 plus they have a special Maki Sushi at that time. So this is what I wore last Sunday. I have no pics for the entire event because I forgot to bring my camera. Just sharing what I wore. How was your weekend so far?

From training with love

One thing I miss the most about working in Manila is becoming a Product trainer. It is something that I love doing because the fact that you get to share what you learn and you also learn from them and their experiences. The time I got promoted I know everything will change in an instant. Though I remained humble  and being close to my trainees is something I always wanted to achieve. Every class is special to me, every training day is memorable to me and everyday I have to make sure that they won't leave the room without learning something from me. It's fun and I sure did miss it a lot. Here's to some of my memories with IBM and my trainees.

They made every training day a memorable one and I surely did miss all of them.. =(

Listening to When it rains by Paramore. Such a perfect song for this kind of weather. I was anticipating that it would rain and sure it did rain. Glad I wore these comfy boots and this hot pink Reebok sweater. It felt like winter in my outfit but I could feel the warmth of this sweater that I can wear this even on sunny days. Blog a bit late but at least I was able to maintain creating blog post on a daily basis. It was a bit tough because I'm running out of titles and blog posts and pictures too. So forgive me for having lame blog titles and pictures that are not well edited. I believe the power of natural shots though its quite not presentable but you know, I'm still learning. So here it is, outfit shot it is.

That summer feeling!

The weather's back to normal. So that means, I can wear heels again. I barely wear heels every time there's a low pressure or upcoming storm because for safety purposes. It's hard to walk in heels especially if the floor is way too slippery (we never know). So it's always better to play safe rather than feel sorry in the end. Wore this because I thought it will rain again but to my surprise, saw the sun shining this morning. Yey!

This past few days I was very relax and stress free from work. The first phase of my online project just finished, and my boss told me that we will be back mid week of March. Done submitting the reports and the audit details and that means, vacation starts now!

So expect updates and fresh blog posts from me this week because I will surely keep your eyes busy by reading my posts on a daily basis. Happy that I would be able to update my blog from time to time and more time for outfit shots! Happy as a kid!

So here's to the outfit for the last day of a rainy weekday! Cheers!

Native land

While my sister's away I've been sneaking into her room couple of times or so just to borrow some few things. Ever since she got married, things are a bit different. I rarely see her and my nephew. Every time I go to her room and rummaging her closet, I sometimes end up wearing her unused clothes that's been stuck for like forever. That's what I love about having a sister, you get to borrow things and vice versa and good thing we're almost at the same size and built, so no pressure at all.

And just like any other day of sneaking out into her room, I found this sort of vintage unique dress which is by the way perfect for this cozy weather. Without having any second thoughts, I grabbed the dress and put it on. I just love how comfortable it is. And because its been raining so hard this past few days, I opted to wear flats for safety reasons.

PS: I will be visiting my college buddy who just gave birth yesterday. Congratulations mirror! Welcome to the Christian world Athena Marybelle Borinaga-Domocol!!

My dress kinda looks like I came from a native tribe. I just love the design of this dress! Too unique! =)

Denim over denim times two

Denim is a must have in every closet because with denim, it never ran out of style. This would be my first time to post a denim over denim outfit shot. Mind you, I was really having a tough time deciding what bottom to pair with this baggy long sleeve polo that I won from Bestie's giveaway. I haven't used this ever since because it is so big for my size and just this morning, while thinking what to wear, this caught my attention and decided why not give it a try. So I pulled out my DIY cut out skirt and the denim inspired sandals from my sister (the benefits of having a sister) to match the entire outfit. Any comments from my entire look?

Did you notice in my outfits lately, the colors that I've been wearing are all at the same shade or palette? The other day I was into brown and right now, all blue. Honestly, I'm a bit uncomfortable playing with colors. Color blocking is something I look forward of wearing or styling but still saving some guts to finally put and add colors to my outfit. I might try color blocking next time but for now, I prefer comfort over fashion. Hoping I was able to make a good styling out of it. So here's to the outfit!
