Plans for 2013

Tick tock tick tock tick tock

So, I guess this is it. 2013 is just around the corner and voila, farewell 2012.

Typically I'm the type of gal who makes New Year's resolution even though I never achieve any of them. I'll never get tired of making a list but I'm way too lazy to achieve them. Funny isn't it but that's the truth.Yep, frustrating but somehow I still find it challenging. I may not achieve all of it but it keeps me up to date on what needs to be achieve next. I don't expect all of it will come true though. But anyways, this year, still not an excuse not to make one.I'm not sure what should be in my list but I still need to find out. I need to reorganize my life and sort some things. But here's few things on my list:

 1. Work - I need to go back to work. Oh yeah I forgot, I am currently employed slash unemployed. I don't know if I can still make up for the wrong impression that I made to my boss. I honestly need to get my feet back and win more money. I am ready to start a better 2013 by going back to work and stop being lazy. Time is ticking and my baby's not getting any younger. I wanted to do something I love, something related to fashion, or travelling. I don't know if I can still find one. Anyways, I'm not sure if I'll still continue this homebased job that I signed up for, but the position I want is the Executive Assistant not just a researcher/transcriptionist/on-call/standby. I have plans for the company and I am willing to help the CEO but onset, I made a wrong impression. I screw up bigtime and it's because the work is kinda demanding, and as much as possible I should be available 24/7 but right now, it's pretty hard because first, no one can take care of my baby. Honestly, I am in dire need of a nanny, and my mom said the pastor is helping us to find one but still the person is undecided whether she will pursue or not. I can't go back to work unless someone is willing to take care of my baby while I'm working and that is why time is the number one rivalry of my present work. I don't know if I'm going to pursue with this but I'll still pray for it. *crossing my fingers

2. Save - It's a must! Like what I said, my baby's not getting any younger. His needs and demands have gradually increased and as much as possible, I want to give him if not everything at least I can provide all his needs and few of his wants. I still want to discipline him and train him the value and essence of money. That in every demand, he needs to work hard for it so that he can have it. I need to save for the rainy days and in case of emergency scenarios (we can never tell). I badly need to start saving for my baby's future. So SAVE is my number 2 priority because how can I save if I don't have a work? Ayt?

3. Learn something new. May it be learning a new sport, learning how to drive a motorcycle or a car or perhaps learning a new language. I want to make 2013 a fun and a learning year. I wanted to get rid of those old habits and start fresh. I wanted to prove myself that I am still capable of learning something new no matter how challenging it is. I'm still thinking but what I have in mind is learning how to drive a motorcycle and a car. Any suggestions?

4. Read, read, read! - Reading is beneficial to everyone. Just by reading, you get to learn a new word/vocabulary, broaden your knowledge and helps you entertain during one-of-those-lazy-moments-when-all-you-want-to-do-is-just-sit-down-and-read-a-good-book. I tell you, reading isn't just something, reading brings you to different places, let's you imagine things you've never thought would exist, fantasize and pretend a role as if you are part of the story being told. I have read a few books but even up to now, I haven't finished reading it. So I hope this time, I get to finished what I started.

5.Re-organize and plan my future. Right now, I can say that I need to pick myself up. I've been a constant mess the entire year and I want to straighten things and act mature. I need to organize and learn to prioritize what needs to be prioritized. I need to get things done in a timely manner, I need to get my feet back and be in good shape. Plan, plan, plan! I need to make it work! I need to achieve what I have planned in the first place. I need to start now and not wait for next year or the year after next, I need to act now!! Now is the time. (let's see) =)

So these are the few of the major things that I need to accomplish. You think I would be able to achieve all of it? That is a big question mark but the answer always depends on me. It's up to me whether I should act now or later. I need to  challenge myself that I can make it. I know I can make it, positive thinking. So here's to all: my prayers for a better 2013 and a thankful 2012. Wish me more than luck! =)

HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!! Cheers!

Thank you, 2012!

2 more days and 2012 is over. This year made a big difference in my human existence. I made a lot of big mistakes, bad moves and struggles that I encountered throughout the year. I can hardly remember the good ones that happened but what matters is somehow I managed to survive the trials that I had to face. It made me realized that I need to organize my life now that I'm back in Cebu for good. I made a lot of wrong decisions and glad that I learned a lesson out from it. So here I am looking back to the craziness 2012 has brought me.

Blue Christmas

On the day of Christmas, I wanted to wear something different, not the typical Christmas colors like red or green. Spent Christmas with my mom and dad and my in-laws so I opted to wear something blue and voila, accomplished this look, hope I was able to pull it off. Anyways, we may not have the most expensive gifts nor the latest trend there is in the market but I am contented and happy with what I have. I am thankful for another year, another memories, another Christmas that I get to spend with my family and that's what matters the most. So here's what I wore on Christmas day. How was your Christmas?

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!

MERRY CHRISTMAS everyone!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESUS!

I admit, it's everyone's favorite time of the year! Everyone's busy with Christmas shopping, get together and reunions, food feast, and happy, cheerful people all around, surrounded with positive vibes! Yes, everyone love Christmas! Especially in the Philippines, we make Christmas worthwhile and meaningful. How was your Christmas lately? Mine, was a happy and contented one. Though I wasn't able to get what I asked for but I am contented and happy with what I have right now. Happy to be with my family, my baby and I know no matter how busy my friends are, they will always be there for me.

Here's a MERRY CHRISTMAS from my baby loves!

Edge Coaster

I have lots of backlog posts and I'm a bit confused whether to post it or not but sometimes, I'm running out of posts that is why I decided to do a backlog post, you know just the art of sharing something to everyone. Anyways, last November 26, 2012, it was my significant other's birthday, I won this gift certificate in Crown Regency and we wanted to try the famous Edge Coaster. Even though I'm from Cebu, it's my first time to try the Edge coaster that everyone's been bragging about. We planned of using the gift certificate and gave it a try. So there, Edge Coaster it is. I'm not an adrenaline junkie but it was so-so for me. If you have fear of heights of course, it would be a scary maybe traumatic experience for you but for adventurous people, it would be a boring experience. No worries, it's always fun if you get to experience it all by yourself. So here's to the Edge Coaster experience.
