The Liebster award

Hjamnette of Hjamnetter shares her day tag me this Liebster award. I consider this my first award to my blog. At first, I was hesitant on what to do with this because I have the slightest idea on what this award is all about. But as I've read the meaning, got the idea and I decided to answer the questions been tagged to me.

So for those who wants to know what a Liebster award is - Liebster is a "chain-post process where bloggers who have less than 200 followers ask each other questions, answer questions and write facts about themselves". 

So now, you guys have the idea what this award means. Now I know. Hahahaha

So let me start with 11 random facts about me:

1. I love Hello Kitty. I am addicted to Hello Kitty! I think I've mentioned before that I'm into Hello Kitty stuff. Eversince, I'm a huge fan of Hello Kitty. Anything as long as it is Hello Kitty. I adore this cute big face cat. I just don't know why but even up to now, I collect Hello Kitty stuff. 

2.  I'm a shy type of person. I'm more of a listener rather than talker. I can listen all day without talking much. Aside from that, when you see me in person, I look like I'm strick and snob but honestly, I'm not, its just that I'm too shy to approach someone. So if ever you see me around, just say hi, I'd be happy to return the favor.  

3. I wear glasses. I have a poor eyesight. A lot of people would ask me, how come I don't wear my glasses. The answer is I just don't feel it. I look like a teacher when I wear one and I look more strict and snob too everytime I use my glasses. I'm used to of not wearing one. Though I can still see you about 5 inches away from me but I can still manage. So again, if you see me somewhere, feel free to say Hi, just tap me at the back or at my shoulder so that I'll be able to notice you. I may not see you from afar but with closer distance you're a 20/20 in my vision.

4. I have a private/secret blog. I've been keeping a private blog for so long. Not this one. It's a secret blog wherein not a single follower, everything there is all dark and gloomy blog posts. It is where I pour out all my emotions, my heartbreak, my frustrations, my dramas in life. It is still active even up to now. Made it anonymous so as not to let anyone know that it's just me. 

5.  I'm vain and narcissistic. I love taking pictures of myself everywhere, may it be from my camera or my phone, I always take a snap shot of myself. No wonder I have more than 5 albums because I have lots of pictures taken by my family and friends and even myself. 

6. I'm not a morning person. I admit, I hate waking up early in the morning. I'm a nocturnal. I'm wide awake at night and you'll see me sleeping in the morning. I just don't like the idea that you get to wake up early in the morning and still feel sleepy. That is why graveyard shift works for me because I am active at night.

7. My sister and best buds calls me "Bhoy-bhoy". That pseudonym was derived from a Tagalog word "Baboy" a pig in English. The reason behind that nick name is because I love pigs. I have lots of pig stuff toys and even piggy banks. It's the next thing I love to collect after Hello Kitty.

8. I am independent. I'm not sure if I need to include this but I think I need to. Eversince high school, I know how to earn money without depending from your parents. Landed a few summer jobs up until college. By the time I got pregnant, I didn't asked helped from my parents or relatives. I worked hard so that I can have a life of my own. 

9. I have 11 diaries all in all. I love to write my thoughts even before. Through writing I can pour out all my emotions, my happiness, my anger, my dreams, my frustrations but I decided to stop writing my diary when I started making a blog. I decided to give blogging a try because compared to a real diary, I have to keep them in a secret place so that my siblings and parents won't be able to see it. They might want to read few pages on it and that's something I want to avoid.

10. I'm a frustrated flight-attendant. If you see me in person, I'm just an average Pinoy. I'm only 5'1. At times, I look tall but because heels were introduced then. I wanted to become a flight attendant, I've heard the pay is good too but to no avail, I have few scars in my legs so I guess from the qualification of having a smooth skin is already a minus in my part.

11. I talk fast when I'm stressed. Way back when I was still a trainer, there are times when I'm nervous or too stressed out, tendency is, I overtalk or talk fast. My pace just couldn't keep up because of my nervousness. No pauses in betweens, as if period doesn't exist. 

So those are 11 random facts about me.

1. One thing you can't leave home without?

Answer: Accessories, cellphone and handkerchief. My outfit won't be complete without wearing an accessory. And I just can't leave the house without bringing my cellphone, I guess we all do. And bringing a handkerchief is a must because my palms sweat easily.

1. Aside from home, what's your favorite place in the world?

Answer: Theme parks. I'm young at heart. I felt like a kid again everytime I visit theme parks, it always excites me. And grocery because I can see lots of food from fruits to chocolates.

1. Dream destination?

Answer: Paris! Rome! It's always my dream to go Paris! I wanted to see that Eiffel Tower! I've heard the place is so romantic!! I'm a hopeless romantic gal.

1. Favorite movie of all time?

Answer: A lot to mention. I love watching movies! I have lots of favorite movie but I guess if I have to choose one movie I'd like to watch over and over again, that would be the Notebook. Again, hopeless romantic me!

1. Favorite chilhood memory?

Answer: My favorite childhood memory? I can't think of anything. Maybe the time when we still live in Logarta.

1. High School memory that makes you cringe?

Answer: A lot! =) 

1. Lipstick, lipgloss or lipbalm?

Answer: Lipstick with lipbalm to avoid chappy and dry lips

1. Tanning lotion or whitening lotion?

Answer: Whitening lotion. My skin have dark spots in some areas. I just want to make it even.

1. High-heels or flats?

Answer: Both. I can wear heels the whole day. It depends on my outfit. 

1. If you're given a chance to switch places with someone, who would that be?

Answer: Oprah. I wonder how she live her life and how it feels to be famous.

1. Are you using Mac or PC?

Answer: PC. I'm still saving up for Mac.

Editor's pick of the day at Bloggers.com

Been away for a week, after the Sinulog festival, now I've been very busy lately with helping my sister for her wedding this Saturday. As a maid of honor, I have to make sure that everything she needs are well prepared so as to make the wedding stressed free. So this week will be a busier week for me. But no worries, I'll do my best to update my blog though.

Anyways, yesterday, I didn't have the chance to open my blog and just this morning as I checked my email, to my surprise, I've been receiving notifications for a friend request and followers for my Bloggers.com profile. As I've checked, I am so happy and thankful that I was one of the few chosen by the editors to be featured in their site. As soon as I saw the Editor's pick of the Day, I captured and screenshot everything. That's when I realized that is why followers and friend request are relatively increasing. But I'm not complaining. I am just overwhelmed. *big smile

You couldn't be that man I adore

I had a heated argument with my guy earlier and at the back of my mind, I always tell myself, I hate him. A simple misunderstanding could lead to a heated argument or worst break-up. Mine, didn't end up in break-up though but ended talking at the end of the day, #chos ♥♥♥  Mind you, my relationship with him is tested by patience. We had several arguments and it almost came to a point that we both had enough of each other, but who would have thought that even up to now, we're still counting the years we've been together despite the fights that we had.

Anyways, wore this simple dress to meet him. I know you've seen this dress in one of the blog post that I had but I just couldn't let go of this dress because it's way too comfy. And because of the bipolar weather, my taste in fashion have changed and became bipolar too. Lately, I'm too lazy to dress up that's why I chose this simple attire. On the other hand, don't you just love my Hello Kitty bag? I'm such a die hard fan of Hello Kitty. I swear I have lots of Hello Kitty stuff and even at this age, I still get that same feeling of excitement every time I see any Hello Kitty stuff. See? I'm always young at heart. =)

The one that got away

The training is almost over but I have to attend another training on Tuesday. The outcome of the demo class didn't worked out well and I had the last minute preparation. I was cramming and obviously, didn't turn out the way it should be. They gave me a chance though and I don't know when. Right now, I'm confused because an ex-colleague of mine told me that my former CEO wanted to re-hire me, and I was like, really? I didn't expect it because all I know is that I messed up and made a wrong impression because of some personal reasons that's why I decided to leave the company. Now, I'm torn between two jobs. Well, I'll continuously pray for this because I can't decide to something I'm not even sure of. I'm such a bipolar. I told myself I wanted to work in a home setting and now my preference have changed, I now wanted to work in an office environment, wanted to meet new friends, new colleagues who share the same office, get to play the dress up part and most importantly, the benefits which I considered perks.

So here's what I wore on the day of the demo class. I have to wear something casual so I decided to take my heels for a spin. I just love this heels from Parisian because they are so comfy and I can bare standing long hours wearing this. Anyways, even though things didn't turn out the way it should be, I totally understand because it was my fault in the first place. So, the end result of not preparing it ahead of time = disaster! But looking on the bright side, I learned a lesson. =)

Raindrops keep falling on my head

I totally love the weather right now. I admit now's the time to wear a perfect coat or a boots or perhaps strut that cozy sweater I recently bought but I felt lazy to dressed up so I decided to bring out the Blair Waldorf in me and that reminds me, I missed Gossip Girl already. Anyhow, can you imagine I got the guts to ride the motorcycle wearing this? I don't just sit sideways but I sit like a rider does. But after 30 minutes of traveling, the rain started to pour. I had to wear the hot orange poncho but still got wet because it was raining hard. So I had to put off all the appointments and went home early. 

This week, we're all excited for the Sinulog parade. I'm busy planning what to wear since the weather lately is bipolar and I wanted to wear something appropriate for the Mardi Gras. I don't know what and where we are heading for this weekend but one things for sure, I am super excited!

You caught me by surprise

Day 2 of my training. All the while I thought it will be just pure discussion but it caught to my surprise that I have to do mock call demo. I didn't read the manuals nor the training materials so I freaked out and did a hasty reading. They gave me 10 minutes to prepare and good thing I listened to the discussion yesterday that I was able to apply what I have learned from yesterday's lecture. Wore something bohemian and covered it with a blazer because I don't want to expose too much skin. This dress is too big for me but with the ever reliable trusty belt, I was able to make a layer out of it. Hope I was able to pull it off.

Good thing, I don't have a training tomorrow until Monday but I will have a demo class on Tuesday. It's a make or break demo test. But I have an assignment to prepare and needs to be submitted on Monday. But I'll just do my task perhaps tomorrow. I don't want to think anything related to work right now, I just want to unwind and release all the tension the mock call demo have caused me.

Easy Busy

Attended the first day of training and I must say, I think it's easy but it's just that there's too much pressure. I know myself well, I work under pressure but still it freaks the hell out of me. I felt like a newbie in the industry, that same feeling wherein you literally don't know what to do, you're too stressed and you can't even think straight, but I know I'll get over this for sure.

So here's what I wore on the first day of training. Kinda stressful but somehow manageable. This dress is too mini don't you think?

January on the go

2013 just started and I have a good instinct that this year will be greater than any other year but of course, each year has a unique and special memories to me. Anyways, I started 2013 with a twist, I resigned from my previous home-based job as an Executive Assistant and a transcriber. After submitting my resignation letter, I've applied for some other home-based jobs and luckily, got a call from one of the company that I applied, and happy to say that I passed the interview and the assessment! Yeeehaa!! January is not that bad after all.

So for this year, I have lots of plan. I'm about to make a list on what needs to achieve for this year. And I'd be glad to share you some of my plans:

1. Travel - Last year, I had the best travel trips so far! Despite of being unemployed I was able to travel and I thank GOD because of HIS provisions and never ending blessings. So this year, I'll make the most out of it. I need to save and I guess I need to start making itinerary and plans for the next trip. Right now, what I have in mind is Macau and Malaysia. Hopefully (crossing my fingers)! I have to make sure that I get to travel at least two places, I'll go where my happy feet wants to go. =)


2. I need to update my blog often, if possible I must make a blog post everyday. Kinda challenging but hopefully, I'll be able to do it. If not everyday, fine, at least 3 blog post in a week. Forgive me for being lazy sometimes, that's because I also have my life and other personal commitments and it's as much as I want to blog everyday, sometimes I just can't think of a blog post. So dear followers, for now, have patience in me, okay? =)


3. Beach! Even though 2013 just started, I can't help but make plans for summer! I'm a beach babe and I can't wait to go to the beach and relax! But wait, before wearing those bikinis, flip flops and sun screen, I forgot, I need to burn some calories first because I've been overeating lately. But I didn't regret it. Boy, I love it!

So these are the plans I made so far, I still have to add more. I'm thinking of a short term goal for now and I do hope I would be able to achieve all of them! You think so?

I need to be more determined that I would able to achieve them, all I need is just FAITH and COURAGE.
