Singapore 1.0

Two weeks after our Bangkok trip, I have to pack again, getting ready for our Singapore trip. We had our last minute reservation for our place to stay, though it's not a hotel since conversion for the Singaporean dollar is way much expensive converting to Philippine peso. We stayed in a serviced apartment that costs 25sgd per night but we got it at a discounted price for 35sgd for 2 persons instead of 50sgd. Not bad for 35sgd includes room with an aircondition, free use of washing machine and dryer, free use of fridge and iron but the bathroom is shared though. Anyways, going back, from Changi airport we rode a train to Tanah Merah, from Tanah Merah to Aljunied, ticket costs 5.80. For first timers, if you plan of getting a package tour feel free to visit Changi recommends in the airport. The package that we got costs 140sgd that includes 4 tourist attraction (Gardens by the bay, Night Safari, Singapore Flyer and Universal Studio). Our first day itinerary includes, visiting the Night Safari.

For those who wants to go to Night Safari, I suggest go to Ang Mo Kio station, then from their basement, there's a bus terminal, just look for bus 138 it will stop directly at the entrance of the Night Safari.Bus fare costs 1.80 each. Make sure you have coins since bus drivers won't give you change. It should be an exact money or exact fare (coins). We tried asking a vendor if they have change for 5sgd but they won't allow, instead you have to buy first then the change that they will give you are all coins. We didn't ate at the Night Safari since it's a bit expensive, so from there, we rode the same bus number and last bus stop is at the AMK mall and ate at the nearest restaurant near our place. Food costs 4-8sgd depends on the food that you will order.

While waiting for check in counters to open

A map in times of need.

I suggest if you want to avail tour packages, I suggest you should visit this one. This is just within the airport. Tour packages at a discounted price.

Look how clean and safe their MRT train doors/gates are.

More travel photos to come!
